We saw this recently at the 2023 Krazy Kosci Klimb when 15 young people with cerebral palsy successfully reached the summit of Australia's tallest mountain. Participants - along with their support teams - scaled the peak using a combination of methods, using modified wheelchairs, walkers and other assistive devices over an 18km trek to the summit.
